Dr Teresa Bonello and Dr Rachel Woodhouse from The John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) have been awarded the highly esteemed Research Grant from Cancer Council ACT for their pioneering work in cancer research.

A world-first ANU discovery has found a gene mutation is responsible for causing psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, debilitating autoimmune diseases that patients say carry stigma in the community.

The Gardiner Group's initiative to collect and process patient blood specimens on-site and then assess patient platelet function, was the highlight of the ITP conference.
