Four students (from left above: Sophie Liddell, Sejal Sathe, Rahnya Taghi, and Jessie Siling Li)—who have never actually met each other—jointly contributed to the recent study “A second genetic screen for gurken mRNA mislocalisation uncovers novel phenotypes of piRNA pathway mutants in Drosophila”, published in Biology Open. The work was led by Rippei Hayashi in the Genome Science and Cancer Division and the Shine-Dalgarno Centre for RNA Innovation.
