Led by SDCRI researchers Dr Hannah Kelly and Dr Agin Ravindran, the inaugural SDCRI Work-In-Progress (WIP) Research Clinic brought together PhD students and early- to mid-career researchers in a relaxed and collaborative setting.
Hosted by Prof. Eduardo Eyras, Director of the Shine-Dalgarno Centre for RNA Innovation (SDCRI), Oliver Distler, Director of Business Development at Syngenis Labs Ltd, visited SDCRI on 15 September 2026 to present the company’s capabilities and discuss the SDCRI researchers’ needs for antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs), splice-switching oligonucleotides (SSOs), and RNA/DNA oligonucleotide development.
The ACT RNA Club hosted the Canberra RNA Emerging Leaders Symposium on 24 August 2026, bringing together 60+ researchers from ANU, UC and CSIRO to showcase innovative RNA research, network and exchange ideas. The event featured rapid-fire presentations, an expert panel on IP and patenting, and recognition of outstanding researchers, with generous support from the symposium’s sponsors.
