Third ACT RNA Club Seminar Series 2026 with international and interstate speakers

The ACT RNA Club had the pleasure of hosting Associate Prof. Evelyn Sattlegger (Massey University, New Zealand) and Dr Jazmine Humphreys (University of Tasmania) for an afternoon of outstanding science and engaging discussion. Their presentations explored the molecular mechanisms underlying GCN2 regulation in health and disease, as well as the insights RNA provides into how plants respond and adapt to environmental stress.

A networking lunch and afternoon tea, generously sponsored by the ANU Shine-Dalgarno Centre for RNA Innovation and The RNA Society, provided an excellent opportunity for students and early career researchers to connect with our speakers, engage in valuable scientific discussions, and seek advice on academic research challenges and career development.
