The ANU Bioinformatics Consultancy (ABC) works with the staff of the Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Unit, and the Statistical Consulting Unit (SCU) to deliver quality teaching through seminars, workshops and courses, including undergraduate and graduate teaching programmes.

The COMBINE Student and Early Career Researchers Bioinformatics Society provides resources for students an early career researchers working in the field of bioinformatics. They run training courses, social events and an annual symposium, as well as offering a variety of coding and computing resources.
