Sara is an ANU medical science graduate working on a project aiming to identify biomarkers for arthrofibrosis following total knee arthroplasty (TKA) surgery using pre-TKA circulating miRNA and post-TKA knee tissue mRNA in the hopes of facilitating disease prognosis and drug discovery. Additionally, Sara is exploring the preventative effect of a treatment cream on the development of arthrofibrosis post-TKA.
