Syngenis Labs Ltd visits SDCRI
Hosted by Prof. Eduardo Eyras, Director of the Shine-Dalgarno Centre for RNA Innovation (SDCRI), Oliver Distler, Director of Business Development at Syngenis Labs Ltd, visited SDCRI on 15 September 2026 to present the company’s capabilities and discuss the SDCRI researchers’ needs for antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs), splice-switching oligonucleotides (SSOs), and RNA/DNA oligonucleotide development. Moreover, opportunities for Syngenis to support grant applications through industry partnership or in-kind contributions, and industry placement and PhD top-up scholarship opportunities were discussed. The visit also included a series of one-to-one meetings between Oliver and SDCRI researchers across various career stages, as well as a PhD student and the SDCRI HDR Manager. These discussions provided an opportunity to showcase SDCRI’s research strengths and identify areas for future collaboration between SDCRI and Syngenis Lab Ltd.
