First ACT RNA Club Seminar Series 2026

The ACT RNA Club hosted Ms Lixinyu Liu (Emma) (JCSMR) and Dr Diep Ganguly (RSB) at The John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) for the first seminar of 2026. The presentations showcased research spanning alternative polyadenylation in retinal degeneration and nuclear cap-binding complex-mediated RNA processing and surveillance, stimulating lively discussion and new insights in RNA biology.

SDCRI sponsored a networking lunch with the speakers, providing students and early career researchers (ECRs) with an opportunity to discuss research, grant applications, and academic career pathways in an informal setting.
