Day 1 - Clinicians' workshop

This workshop will provide a platform for experts in the field of Precision Medicine (functional genomics) to share their knowledge, experiences, and success stories. Through an engaging training and education program of keynote presentations, panel discussions, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities, participants will gain insights into how functional genomics is revolutionising patient care. The event will emphasise real-life case studies and practical applications, ensuring that attendees understand the direct impact of genomics research on disease diagnosis, treatment, and management.

Associate Professor Simon Jiang - Senior staff nephrologist at the Canberra Hospital and group leader of the Personalised Medicine and Autoimmunity research group at the John Curtin School of Medical Research at ANU.

Dr Chandima Perera - Rheumatologist and Director of Rheumatology at the Canberra Hospital.

Associate Professor Aron Chakera - Nephrologist at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth and group leader at the Harry Perkins Institute for Medical Research.

Associate Professor Michaela Lucas - Clinical immunologist at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth.
