The JCSMR Student Conference is be a great opportunity for students to share their research with each other and to attend panels and discussions about being a research student and future careers.

The Conference for 2023 will be held on 28-29 June at the Marie Reay Teaching Center at ANU.

All students—undergraduate, Honours, Masters, PhD, 6-months post-PhD—are encouraged to attend.

Aside from oral and poster presentations, the Conference will also include a plenary lecture by a leading scientist, mentoring and career advice from experts in industry, policy, consulting and sales, networking coaching, and, practicing with other students, mindfulness and meditation.

Abstract submission

Abstracts* should be submitted by filling in this Google Form. If you want to attend the conference but you do not want to present, please REGISTER for the conference using the same Google Form! Abstract submissions will close on Friday 7 April. 

*NOTE: You do not need to have significant amounts of data to submit an abstract. You can simply submit your project proposal and present a poster on what you have done so far. Your presentation can also include more data than what you include in abstract.
