The Inaugural ANU Symposium in Computational Biology, Biomedicine and Artificial Intelligence

The convergence of artificial intelligence, biology, and biomedicine represents a pivotal frontier for advancing health outcomes and knowledge discovery within the life sciences. As experimental technologies yield increasingly large and intricate datasets, rapid advances in artificial intelligence offer novel approaches for deciphering this complex information. AI×BIO 2024 will showcase the latest developments and emerging ideas from the ANU and leading Australian researchers at the intersection of these disciplines.

Program overview

AI×BIO 2024 will include two keynote presentations by distinguished guest speakers, nine research talks, student poster presentations, and a workshop session titled “Large language models in biomedicine and healthcare: emerging applications and opportunities”.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided, including a networking session at the end of the symposium.
