The John Curtin School of Medical Research of The Australian National University holds a unique position in the hearts and minds of many Australians as the National Medical Research School.

Our Outreach and Communications Manager spends a lot of time meeting with members of the local community - speaking at meetings of clubs and community groups, and to high school and college students throughout Canberra and the region. This has led to a much wider appreciation of the work of our scientists and researchers. Many groups have taken advantage of our offer to tour The John Curtin School of Medical Research, visiting our laboratories and speaking with our researchers as they demonstrate their experimental design and equipment.

Let us visit you!

A speaker for your community group, club, or classroom, or a JCSMR visit can be arranged by our public relations manager.
