About us
The Clinical Hub for Interventional Research (CHOIR) is the central point for early phase clinical research within the College of Health and Medicine (CHM) at the Australian National University (ANU) and aims to support the specialised functions involved in conducting high quality clinical trials to the required international standards (ICH-GCP).
CHOIR supports both individual researchers and research groups to navigate and reduce the barriers for developing and participating in clinical research, both pre and post award. CHOIR aims to ensure clinical trials across ANU and our collaborators are successful by creating the infrastructure required to develop and run high quality clinical trials.
CHOIR has a strong focus on inter-disciplinary research using the underlying methodologies of clinical trials and patient orientated research. Key focus areas of CHOIR are studies of developmental therapeutics in cancer, including haematological cancers, immunology, and infectious diseases, including immunotherapies and other host-directed therapies.
We welcome all collaborations in the area of early phase trials.
