About
I am an early career postdoctoral researcher at the National Centre for Indigenous Genomics. I completed my PhD at La Trobe University focusing on understanding how extracellular vesicles (EVs) play a role in propagating neurodegenerative diseases through alterations in protein and miRNA cargo. I am well versed in EV isolation techniques, cell culture, miRNA next generation sequencing and analysis, digital and RT-PCR, and proteomics including identification of post-translational modifications (PTMs). During my time at the Australian National University, I became proficient in bottom-up and targeted proteomics, examining neuroinflammatory induced PTMs in neurodegenerative diseases.
