Science Mobility Program Award (2017) to Sam Montague

Congratulations to Dr Samantha Montague, Postdoctoral Fellow in The Gardiner Group - Mechanisms of Thrombosis and Cancer at JCSMR who has been award the Science Mobility Program Award from the Science and Technology department of the French Embassy. The award consists of a travel grant covering travel to Professors Sophie Susen’s laboratory in the Department of Hematology and Transfusion at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (CHU) Lille. The aim of the program is to facilitate a new collaboration, which will involve assessing the utility of the platelet specific activation marker soluble GPVI (sGPVI) in predicting thrombosis and bleeding events in patients with aortic regurgitation post transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
