New recognition for diabetes research team

Professor Chris Parish and his team from The John Curtin School of Medical Research have been recognised in 10 of the Best Research Projects 2014 for their work on Type 1 diabetes.

Australia's Health Minister Sussan Ley announced the 10 stellar research stories funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), and said they were further evidence of Australia's world-leading standing in medical research.

"These research stories give us a glimpse into the next generation of treatments and medical devices that will make a difference to people's lives," Ms Ley said.
