Congratulations

5 November 2015

Congratulations to Associate Professor Mauricio Arcos-Burgos who has received the Danko Brncic Award from the Genetic Society of Chile, which was celebrating 50 years of scientific life. This award is the most important that the society offers every year to a Geneticist.

Danko Brncic was an important geneticist, a student of Theodosius Dobzhansky, and one of the main builders of the evolutionary theory of coadaptation. He was the first to show that  biological fitness depends on inner and relational balance of genes in chromosomes.
