The 3rd Bootes Course on Translational Medicine

2 July 2012

In July, The John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) at The Australian National University, hosted the 3rd Bootes Course on Translational Medicine: The Pathway from Discovery to Healthcare.

Local, national and international experts covered a full range of topics including:

  • The Foundations of Translational Medicine
  • Bench to Bedside – Bedside to Clinic
  • Translation of New Discoveries into Healthcare Guidelines and Health Policy
  • Global Health: The Last Frontier of Translational Medicine

This course is ideally geared for those in health related industries – including staff from Government Departments and Agencies – as well as academics in the biomedical, clinical and health sciences, and would also suit current Higher Degree Research students in health related fields. The Course runs as a stand-alone Short Course, or can be completed as an intensive component of a graduate studies program at The Australian National University.
