‘ConeSim’ comprises a set of Matlab routines for solving the differential equations of cone transduction described in the paper:


There are two versions of the program:

  • The standard version is for users who have Matlab installed.
  • The stand-alone version does not require Matlab, but is only available for Windows systems. Functionally it is identical, but it runs much more slowly than the standard version, and the files occupy ~24 MB.

1) Standard Matlab version

  • Requirements: Matlab (The Mathworks, Inc) version 6 or higher.
  • Download: ConeSim Standard version for Matlab (ZIP 51 kB)
  • Extract: Extract the files to an appropriate directory (e.g. 'C:\ConeSim'), and then ensure that this is pathed in Matlab.
  • Running: Start Matlab, and give the command 'ConeSim'.  

2) Stand-alone version Requirements: Microsoft Windows.
