Invitation to Students and Postdoctoral Fellows
Our laboratory provides an outstanding environment to acquire and build skills at the cutting edge of modern biomedical research, with interdisciplinary training in:
* genetics/genomics,
* microarray technology,
* molecular biology and retroviral gene transfer,
* biochemical analysis of signal transduction,
* cell biology and image analysis, and
* B and T cell immunobiology.
The group is supportive and interactive, with each PhD student or Fellow in charge of a unique project of their choosing and design, and extensive contact and advice from the senior members of the lab and the wider research community of The John Curtin School. The School provides outstanding opportunities to use state-of-the art equipment and learn from specialists in core facilities for flow cytometry and cell sorting, confocal/2-photon/electron microscopy, histopathology, Affymetrix microarray analysis, capillary DNA sequencing and real-time PCR. Stimulating weekly lab meetings, journal clubs, seminar programs, a network of national and international collaborations, and support to attend and present at national and international meetings are designed to put you at the forefront of the field.
You are warmly invited to contact us at Chris.Goodnow@anu.edu.au.
