Neural control in the autonomic and enteric nervous systems. Specific areas of interest include:
  • Neural control of vascular excitability
  • Neural control of gastrointestinal motility
  • Involvement of interstitial cells of Cajal in neural control of gastrointestinal motility
  • Involvement of interstitial cells of Cajal in generation of myogenic activity in the gastrointestinal tract
