JCSMR School Seminar Series: RNA-seq: from reads to genes to pathways

Professor Gordon Smyth, Division of Bioinformatics, The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, Melbourne, VIC

Professor Smyth is a statistical bioinformatician working on gene expression and gene regulation problems. His group develops novel statistical methodology, algorithms and software for the analysis of genomic data from microarray, RNA-seq and ChIP-seq technologies. His group has developed some well known software packages including limma, edgeR, goseq and subread.
