Chris Pugmire (Office of Commercialisation)
Chris Pugmire is a Business Development Manager in the ANU Office of Commercialisation, and has 14 years’ experience of commercialising
the outcomes of biomedical research. Chris joined the ANU in 2011 from Queen Mary Innovation Ltd (the commercialisation company of
Queen Mary, University of London), where he was Director of Operations for six years. Previously he served for five years as Senior Business
Development Manager in pharmaceuticals, healthcare and biotechnology for King’s College London.
Anusha Subramaniam (Office of Commercialisation)
Anusha Subramaniam has recently joined the Office of Commercialisation following from her previous role as Scientific Programs Manager
at the Australian Phenomics Facility. Anusha is currently pursuing an MBA and has a background in immunology and genetics, with
practical experience in the management of large-scale medical research projects.
Karen Jackson (ANU Connect Ventures)
Karen Jackson manages ANU Connect Ventures’ Discovery Translation Fund, a commercially focussed proof of concept fund. Karen has
previously worked in sponsored research management for the ANU’s joint colleges, and as a business development manager in the Office
of Commercialisation.
