Forum on research degree opportunities in immunology

ANU offers many exciting PhD opportunities in projects relevant to understanding human disease. Our researchers have developed an integrated programme of basic and clinical discovery. PhD students at JCSMR have unique access to human-based research, animal models of these diseases, and cutting edge genomics technology, including whole exome sequencing of patients with immunological diseases to identify causal gene variants. We will be hosting a forum where you will have the chance to discuss these opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere. Come along and hear about current projects and future directions from some of our group leaders and current students. We will provide information about how to go about beginning a PhD, getting funding and how to combine a research career with clinical practice.

Hosting the forum are Professor Carola Vinuesa, Head, Department of Pathogens and Immunity, JCSMR, ANU, Associate Professor Matthew Cook, Department of Immunology and Translational Research, TCH and Department of Immunology, JCSMR, ANU and Professor Chris Goodnow, Head, Department of Immunology, JCSMR, ANU.
