EMBL Australia Partner Laboratory Network ACT Node Launch

Australia is the first associate member of the renowned European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL). EMBL Australia creates opportunities to develop Australia life sciences, and especially focuses on nurturing early-career researchers.

On 14 June, the ANU EMBL node will be officially launched. The event will take place from 4pm onwards. Professor Iain Mattaj, Director General of EMBL and Dr Silke Schumacher, Director of International Relations, will be visiting ANU for the occasion. They will be joined for this high-profile event by the Vice-Chancellor, as well as Professor James Whisstock, Scientific Head of EMBL Australia, Professor Alan Finkel, Chief Scientist and the German Embassy's Head of Mission.
