Towards precision medicine: Phenotyping human diseases in mice, 20-21 October 2014

The 16th Frank & Bobbie Fenner Conference - 20-21 October 2014

Latest DNA sequencing technologies now allow systematic linking of genomic variation in humans to disease phenotypes. How will we best use mouse models to validate the results from these human sequencing studies? How will clinical value be obtained from mouse models? Who will hold and curate the data frameworks for constant data mining? What is the way to organise national and international collaborations to form the knowledge networks for biomedical research?

To celebrate ten years of the Australian Phenomics Facility we are holding a joint meeting with the International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium, Asian Mouse Phenotyping Consortium and Australian Phenomics Network. This will be held in Canberra, Australia in October 2014.
