The Stuart Group - Neuronal Signalling

Neuronal Signalling

The Neuronal Signalling Group studies the electrical and chemical signals that nerve cells in the brain use to communicate with one another. The Group uses state-of-the-art optical and electrical recording techniques to address fundamental questions in neuroscience, such as how the brain processes information about the outside world and how we learn and remember. Our research addresses issues relevant to neurological diseases such as epilepsy, schizophrenia, dementia and spinal cord injury.
