The Cook Group - Translational Research

Translational Research

The translational research group in immunology is seeking to understand the genetic aetiology and cellular pathogenesis of human diseases arsing from dysregulated immunity. Examples of these diseases include lupus, primary immune deficiency, and allergy. We work in collaboration with our colleagues within the Program in Immunology and clinicians from across Australia, and combine novel animal models, and human and mouse genomics to elucidate human disease phenotypes.
